It takes around one hour to drive from Duqm to reach this beautiful beach. It is next to a village by the same name. The village itself is inhabited by fishermen. There are few parking places next to the beach. There are lots of white sands and many crabs running along the beach. Ras Madrakah is a popular point among campers to pitch an overnight tent.

Rock Garden desert, one of the greatest natural treasures, is located in Wilayat Ad Duqm in Al Wusta Governorate. The garden is naturally sculpted from rocks. There is almost a six-kilometer area for some unusual rock formations which are estimated to belong to 46 million years ago. Some natural elements such as water, wind, and ice shaped sandstone and limestone sculptures around the area.

Khawr Awqad lagoon is located on the outskirts of Awqad city in Dhofar Governorate. There are lots of birds here during the year such as Abu Maghl, herons, and egrets.

Wadi Bani Khalid is one of the most well-known wadis in oman. Its stream maintains a constant flow of water all along the the year. The course of the wadi contains large pools of water and boulders. It covers a large swathe of lowland and the Hajar Mountains

Jebel Shams is located in the north of Al Hamra in northeastern Oman. The name comes from the reason that it has a high peak which leads to receiving the sunlight sooner than the rest of places. It has the most height in the Hajar range and the whole country. It is about 240 km away from Muscat. The temperature in summer is about 20 °C and it decreases to less than 0 °C in winter. Jebel Shams also enjoys the accompanying the spectacular Al Nakhur canyon which is also called Grand Canyon.
