Jarnan Cave is located in Wilayat Izki in Ad Dakhiliya Governorate. The cave is 120 km far from Muscat. It has been recently discovered and estimated to be 2 million years old. It is also a good source of stalactites and stalagmites.

The Empty Quarter Desert (Rub Al Khail) is located in the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula which is known as the largest continuous sand sea with golden sands.
