Wadi Al Nakhr is about a 2-hour drive from the capital Muscat which is known as the Grand Canyon of middle East. visitors can enjoy eye-catching waterfalls ascending from Jebel Shams. The word ‘Nakhr’ means process of rock carving ‘erosion’. The wadi has one of the most beautiful and amazing valleys in the Sultanate with several branches: Wadi Ash Shab, Masirah Valley, Wadi Bin Rumman, Wadi Sidran, Wadi Bimah, and Wadi Al-Khubayya.
