The Jabreen castle (also known as Jabrin) is an impressive castle located in Bahlat near the Jabal Akhdar mountains and Nizwa in Northeastern Oman. This place was built by Yaruba Imam Bil’arab bin Sultan. There is an audio guide of about 25 minutes provided at the entrance of this attraction which you can listen to. Al Husn Souq is located in the middle of Salalah’s old neighborhoods. The Souq derives its name from the Al Husn Palace (Sultan Palace) and you may hear other names for that such as Haffah Souq, Frankincense Souq, Luban Souk, and Bakhur Souk. According to the abundance of handicrafts, it has a traditional style and its surrounding maintains the architectural personality. There you can find frankincense, traditional Omani dress, and perfumes.

Around 500 years ago, Nabhan Tribe built the castle and it was completed by a Sheikh from the Yaqoubi Tribe in that same century. After the renovation in the early 90s, it was opened for the public. Ibri Castle includes a number of buildings in it, a mosque on the left side which is still in use and a cubic building on the right. Having many gates is one of the most outstanding features of the castle each one of them is called a “Sabah” and used for a different purpose
