Khasab Fort Oman is located in Khasab, Musandam. It was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century around an older circular tower, this well-preserved fort now is one of the best little ethnographic museums in Oman.

Traditional Kumzar village, one of the most strategic trade arteries of the world, is located in the north part of the country in Musandam Governorate and it is only accessible by boat. It was inhabited for about 500 years but now, it is the second most populated village town in this country. The village is a tourist destination that provides a port and airport. There are lots of mountain goats walking around and climbing the rocks in this area.

It is located in Wilayt Al Buraymi in the Al Buraimi Governorate. Al Khandaq Castle is considered one of the important monuments in AlWilaya. It is a calm and quiet area for a weekend visit. It’s free of fee and it is just open on workdays during work hours.

Jebel Shams is located in the north of Al Hamra in northeastern Oman. The name comes from the reason that it has a high peak which leads to receiving the sunlight sooner than the rest of places. It has the most height in the Hajar range and the whole country. It is about 240 km away from Muscat. The temperature in summer is about 20 °C and it decreases to less than 0 °C in winter. Jebel Shams also enjoys the accompanying the spectacular Al Nakhur canyon which is also called Grand Canyon.

Ras Al Hadd beach is located in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate in Oman. Actually, it is a world-famous breeding ground for green turtles. You can see a giant number of sea turtles in specific seasons. The beach is quiet and there are some comfortable and built-in Omani traditional-style rooms, overlooking the sea. They are equipped with AC, a refrigerator, with a private beach. Among the activities are lying down on sun loungers, swimming in crystal clear water, and the ability to do snorkeling.

Ash Sharqiyah sands, also called Wahiba Sands, contain several oases with different characteristics such as Al Raka, Shahik, Al Hawiyah, and Al Aidan oases. They are surrounded by sand dunes, some of them contain some trees and golden sands which form a greenery peninsula. Here, you can meet the true life of local Beduins, watch the amazing sunset, and see the camels. There are some camps to stay in and pay attention that the weather is too hot to go in June and July. You can enjoy doing some activities like sand skiing, sand-duning, camel and horse racing, as well.
