Bahla souq, as part of the Bahla Oasis, can be considered a destination that allows you to travel in time and go to the past. The souq has about 142 shops with a varying range of products. Although it’s an old souq, some of its markets have been renovated, recently. Based on residents’ claims “this souq is our cultural heritage. Its story has been passed down from era to era”.

Wadi Al Nakhr is about a 2-hour drive from the capital Muscat which is known as the Grand Canyon of middle East. visitors can enjoy eye-catching waterfalls ascending from Jebel Shams. The word ‘Nakhr’ means process of rock carving ‘erosion’. The wadi has one of the most beautiful and amazing valleys in the Sultanate with several branches: Wadi Ash Shab, Masirah Valley, Wadi Bin Rumman, Wadi Sidran, Wadi Bimah, and Wadi Al-Khubayya. Walking in Snake Gorge, trekking in wadis, climbing the highest peak of canyon, and hiking are the activities that visitors can enjoy in this area.
